Our COVIDsafe Procedures

To keep everyone safe as we return to normal, we have implemented the following protocols. These procedures aim reduce risk of exposure by keeping the waiting room as empty as possible and our staff protected.

Procedures:

1) PPE for all staff and doctors – this means we will not need to close the clinic if we become an exposure site.

2) When you call to make an appointment, our staff will screen you for symptoms of COVID-19.

3) When you arrive for your appointment, patients must wait in their cars until our reception staff call you.

4) All patients entering the practice must check-in with Service NSW.

5) Where possible, your doctor may take a history while you remain in your car and call you up to the practice as required to reduce contact time.

6) If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you will be assessed in your car by clinical staff wearing full PPE.

7) Phone consultations may be available where clinically viable.

8) High-touch surfaces are cleaned twice a day (at midday and before closing).

Unvaccinated patients

Being a health provider, we are obligated to check if you are vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, we will still treat you however your consultation may be different in order to protect you, other patients and our staff i.e. you may need to remain in your car for the duration of your consultation.
